There are many ways of containing water. The size and design of features often determine what type of liner is suitable.

  • BUTYL
Butyl is a very flexible membrane suitable for smaller ponds with tight corners.
  • RUBBER
EPDM membranes are used on larger ponds up to reservoir size. They are not as flexible as Butyl but are generally thicker.
  • PREFORMED
Supplied in plastic or fibre glass. Ask for a brochure.
  • GLASS FIBRE
Any pond can be custom lined for a strong hard lining.
  • CLAY
Only suitable for larger ponds, lakes or reservoirs. The main benefit with clay is its self sealing qualities.
  • CONCRETE
Many dedicated Koi or formal ponds are constructed using this material.
  • GEOTEXTILE UNDERLAY
These materials provide puncture resistance prolonging the life of butyl and rubber linings. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.
